1. In Marcel Proust's epic novel In Search of Lost Time, the first chapter takes ~4 hours to read and it's literally just describing that moment when you are waking up from your dream back into reality. Dense but super good.

2. Dali did a collab with Disney called Destino, very dreamlike: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_TlaxmOKqs&list=RDy_TlaxmOKqs&start_radio=1

3. I know your focus is on Asia, wanted to share about the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) which I've been reading about recently. I think it would be interesting to you. So cobalt is the main mineral that makes lithium ion batteries that power all our hardware tech including smartphones and electric cars. 70% of the world's known cobalt reserves are located in the DRC, and 70% of all mines there are controlled by state-backed Chinese companies. A lot of child labor and exploitation and in very dangerous conditions.

Would love to chat with you sometime about your experiences working with children and communities, I bet you have a lot of learnings to share about what works and what doesn't!
